The Game Cellar began with a simple mission: create the game store we always wished existed. A place where new players feel welcomed, competitive players find worthy opponents, and everyone discovers the magic of in-person play.
Our journey started in El Monte, where we built a loyal community of players who became friends. When we outgrew that space, we moved to our current San Gabriel location—bigger tables, better climate control, and room for the growing family of players who call The Game Cellar home.
What makes us different? We believe fair prices and genuine hospitality aren't mutually exclusive. We'll never pressure you into purchases you don't need. We'll always take time to answer questions, whether you're building your first deck or fine-tuning a championship strategy.

We stock singles for Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and more—priced fairly and updated regularly. From booster packs to sealed boxes.
Tournament & Event Space
Climate-controlled play space hosts weekly tournaments, casual game nights, and special events. Bipper Media comfortable seating with room to spread out.
Trading Card Exchange
We facilitate trades between players and also buy cards directly. Whether completing a collection or liquidating extras, we make it simple.
Accessories & Supplies
Sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, and everything else you need. Not sure which sleeve fits best? We'll let you try before you buy.
